Meet Chris...the Owner and Operator

Back in 1991, a young, green high school student who was eager to learn from the best, met DJ A.K. while working together for another Bay Area DJ company. Chris was a quick study and before long was performing at weddings, school dances and private functions. He developed a smooth delivery on the microphone and became very comfortable speaking at events in front of large audiences. Relentless in his pursuit of perfection, DJ Chris took over The Best Mobile Music to ensure that A.K.'s legacy was maintained in a way that he would be proud of. Our Founder

Since 1987, Ashar Khaliq (A.K.) has performed at weddings, private parties, corporate events, and clubs throughout the Bay Area.  An experienced professional, and perfectionist who ensured that every detail was attended to. A possessor of refined microphone and public speaking abilities, which were evident from the first announcement to the last goodbye. He naturally bonded with many different audiences, and programmed music accordingly. A.K's professionalism, microphone talents, personality, and mixing skills came together to provide his clients with the best DJ experience.
